In addition to being exciting, the treat is gluten-free, gelatin-free and vegan.
Is this the world's weirdest straitjacket?
Who would even think of making salmiakki that tastes like the aroma of a bay leaf? To be honest, we were at least skeptical when we heard about this newest member of the product family. We dared to test and the first bite tasted special...but surprisingly nice. So we decided to put the popular product on sale along with a tasty strait. Are you brave enough to test this specialty?
The ties are packed in fully compostable light brown packaging. One bag contains about 200 grams.
A father and son piloted salmiakki workshop from Holland
Klepper & Klepper is a small father and son pilot shop from Holland. The company started in 1990 from a small candy stall run by father Klepper, which over the years has expanded to produce these licorice, titled the best in the world, The best licorice ever. At first, the delicious Salmiaks conquered the specialty confectionery stores in Holland, but father and son Klepper were convinced that the products would also taste good in other salmiak-loving countries. The world conquest started in Finland (of course!), specifically from us at Tallipiha Chocolate Shop.
Klepper & Klepper Bay leaf
Gluten-free and gelatin-free salmiak
In addition to the delicious taste, all Salmiaks of the Klepper & Klepper product family are gluten-free and gelatin-free. Licorice is usually made with wheat starch, but Klepper's salmiaki uses potato starch, which is gluten-free. In addition, all flavors except honey are vegan. Ties are great for people following many special diets, and the products have also been popular as gifts.
Were you interested? We recommend testing Klepper's straitjackets, but be warned! You'll be hooked on these!
